What exactly is it?
Thinning hair can be really distressing. It can affect both men and women and have a huge impact on confidence and mental health. At The Skin Taylor we have created a bespoke treatment package to effectively stimulate new hair growth. This minimally invasive microneedling treatment initiates your own natural healing responses. By stimulating blood flow growth factors are brought to the area and collagen is regenerated. The long term effects are increased health of the hair follicles which can result in both new hair growth and the thickening of thinning hair. We combine this with LED phototherapy to further stimulate healing and new hair growth.
What will it feel like?
This treatment is relatively painfree. We use a device with medical grade, single use cartridges containing very fine needles. We section your hair and move over the scalp to create superficial wounds and microchannels. A targeted serum is applied during the procedure to both soothe and optimize hair growth.
How long will it be before I see some changes?
Results are expected to be noticeable after 8-12 weeks.
